Broncos might find out in May if they will host 2019 or 2020 NFL draft

NFL officials have been surveying the city of Denver as a potential candidate to host the 2019 or 2020 NFL draft, Broncos president and CEO Joe Ellis told the Denver Post’s Nicki Jhabvala on Monday.

His best offer out of high school, however, was Fairleigh Dickinson. His first full season as a starter, he helped FDU break an 11-year NCAA Tournament drought. Seeking a bigger stage, he transferred to Loyola-Chicago — doing so without even visiting the city — and, in his first season as a starter, helped that program end a 33-year tournament drought.

Townes is 151-39 as a starter in high school and college. That record, more than anything Townes could say, is the perfect rebuttal to the big programs that didn’t offer him a scholarship.

I don’t have anything to say to them, he said. I feel like I could have helped any program, but it was just a longer journey. I ended up at a good program, and as everyone can see now, I’m helping a team go to the Final Four. I’m happy where I’m at now.

According to Gurley, there would be no concerns about fitting Beckham into Sean McVay’s offense led by himself and Jared Goff. There’s plenty of work to go around.

It wouldn’t be the start of a Major League Baseball season without Mike Francesa and Chris Mad Dog Russo going back and forth on over/under win totals for the upcoming campaign.

After years of the tradition on WFAN, times have changed. Now with Francesa no longer having a daily radio show, it wasn’t clear if the long-time host would put out his baseball thoughts before the season.

Thanks to an invitation on Russo’s MLB Network show, High Heat, fans had the chance to see the former duo together doing what they do best.

Here are some highlights from their selections, including the Yankees, Mets and Phillies.
